Honey never goes bad as it is one of nature's wonder foods. If honey crystalizes or granulates(most do over time) simply place the honey container in warm water which will bring it back to its liquified form. Do not refrigerate honey as it speeds up the crystalization process. Store honey at room temperature, out of sunlight, and on a countertop or a shelf. Honey should not be fed to children under 1 year of age.
Honey is mostly made up of fructose, glucose, and water. It also contains a variety of other sugars, enzymes, minerals, vitamins, and amino acids including niacin, fiboflavin, pantothenic acid, calcium, copper iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc.
