Citrus Punch

1 quart

 

3/4 cup water

1/2 cup honey

2 oranges, 2 limes, and 1/2 lemon, all peeled and cut up

1 cup pineapple cubes

A Bottle of 7-up

 

Combine water and honey in a blender. Add all fruit, cover and process again in the blender until the fruit is liquified.  Pour each glass half full, add ice cubes and fill the rest of each glass with 7-up.

 

 

Chocolate Honey Drink

can be served hot or cold

 

2 Tablespoons of cocoa

3 Tablespoons of honey

1/2 teaspoon of salt

2 cups scalded milk

 

Blend the cocoa with the salt and honey.  Add to the scalded milk and simmer over low heat for 2-3 minutes.  Serve either hot or cold.  To serve cold: pour over ice in glasses.

 

 

Honey Ice Cubes

 

1/2 cup honey

2 Tablespoons lemon juice

2 cups hot water

 

Blend the honey with the hot water and lemon juice.  Pour into ice trays and freeze.   Serve with lemonade, fruit punch, or iced tea.

 

 

Orange Drink

4 glasses

 

1 6oz. can frozen orange juice

1 cup milk

1 cup cold water

1/3 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup crushed ice

 

Mix everything in the blender, except the honey; mix for about 30 seconds.  Drizzle in the honey and mix again, only until blended.

 

 

Special Tea

8 servings

 

6 tea bags

6 Tablespoons honey

cinnamon stick

1/2 cup lemon juice

6 cups boiling water

 

Boil the water then add the tea bags.  Remove from heat and allow tea to steep for 5 minutes with the lid on.  Remove the tea bags.  Place over low heat and stir in the honey.  Add the cinnamon stick and lemon juice.  Simmer slowly for 5 minutes.  Garnish with a lemon slice. Refrigate leftover tea. Warm leftover tea to reserve or serve as cold iced tea.

 

 

Strawberry Smoothie

4 servings

 

1 cup plain yogurt

1 cup cold milk

1 cup strawberries, stems removed and sliced

1/2 cup honey

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 cup crushed ice

 

Blend all ingredients into a blender.  Blend until smooth.  Serve immeadiately.
